This is a very famous line that describes rose. Every one sees the beauty of rose and admire it. flowers are really meant for that. The rose also symbolizes that the beauty has a thorny base. This is suitable for human beings. Some may look very beautiful, charming and gorgeous. But the thing is they cant even think of the inner flesh part of their body. It is composed of blood, flesh, mucus, digested food, residue and all the stuff. So beauty is not just the thing that comes out of nowhere. It has a strong base that is not mostly beautiful. So we have to learn this basic principle and lead the life by giving priority to other values than beauty.
